Katrin Linke studied medicine and biology in Göttingen and Kiel. She subsequently conducted research in Florida and Israel on the interaction between dolphins and humans. From 2001 onward, she worked as a freelance television journalist for science and educational programs on ARD, ARTE and Hessischer Rundfunk. Her first book, “Eine Liebe ohne Grenzen – Unsere Flucht aus der DDR” (“A Love Without Borders – Our Escape from East Germany”), was published by Lübbe in 2019. From 2021 onward, she also published nonfiction books for children, including “Die spannende Welt der Viren und Bakterien” (“The Fascinating World of Viruses and Bacteria”).
