Katrin Eigendorf

Katrin Eigendorf (born 1962) is a German television journalist. Since the 1990s, she worked as a foreign correspondent, reporting for ZDF heute, heute journal and auslandsjournal from crisis and war zones. Her areas of coverage included Ukraine, Russia, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey. From 2018, she worked as an international reporter for ZDF; in 2022, she served as a special correspondent in Ukraine. She received the Hanns-Joachim-Friedrichs Prize for television journalism and was named Journalist of the Year in the “National Reportage” category in 2021.
