Katarzyna Bonda

Katarzyna Bonda (born 1977 in Białystok) is a Polish crime writer. After studying journalism at the University of Warsaw, she worked for several years as a journalist and documentary filmmaker before turning to writing. She made her debut in 2007 with the novel “Sprawa Niny Frank” (“The Case of Nina Frank”), which received several awards, including the Nagrody Wielkiego Kalibru for the best Polish-language crime novel of the year. In addition to further crime novels, she published nonfiction books such as “Polskie morderczynie” (“Polish Murderers”) and “Zbrodnia niedoskonała” (“No Perfect Crime”). Her series include novels featuring police psychologist Hubert Meyer and a four-volume series about profiler Sasza Załuska. She also founded a school for creative writing.
