Juneau Black

Juneau Black is the pseudonym of authors Jocelyn Koehler and Sharon Nagel, who previously worked as booksellers in Milwaukee. Their joint debut was the mystery novel “Shady Hollow,” which attracted a large readership. The pseudonym and the stories grew out of an unusual encounter with a basket of finger puppets: the two women invented names and characters for them, and eventually a murder mystery as well.
