Juliane Rebentisch

Born in 1970, Juliane Rebentisch studied philosophy and German studies at Freie Universität Berlin. She received her doctorate from the University of Potsdam in 2002 and completed her habilitation in philosophy at Goethe University Frankfurt in 2010. Her areas of research include aesthetics, ethics, and political philosophy. She was a member of the faculty of the Frankfurt Institute for Social Research and was appointed professor of philosophy and aesthetics at the Offenbach University of Art and Design in 2011. In 2017, she received the Lessing Prize of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
