Julia Kluge

Julia Kluge was born in Saxony in 1989. From 2009 to 2014, she studied communication design and illustration at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, and in 2016 completed a master’s degree in illustration at the Berlin University of the Arts. As an illustrator and artist, she has published work in books and magazines and has exhibited her work. Her thesis, “Zwischen den Zweigen zwitschert ein Waldhorn,” received the highest grade and was published as her first book. In 2017, she won third prize at the international stArt Award for young illustrators in Rotterdam.
