Judith Holofernes

Judith Holofernes is a German musician, songwriter, and author. She became known as the singer, guitarist, and lyricist of the band Wir sind Helden. From 2013 onward, she released the solo albums »Ein leichtes Schwert« and »Ich bin das Chaos«. Her books include the poetry collection »Du bellst vor dem falschen Baum« and »Die Träume anderer Leute« (2022). She received the German Music Authors’ Prize for her song lyrics. In her early twenties, she translated comics from French and later translated songs by other artists into German.
