Joseph Andras

Joseph Andras, born in 1984, is a French-language writer. His debut novel, Die Wunden unserer Brüder (published in German in 2017), received the 2016 Prix Goncourt for Best First Novel, which he declined in criticism of the competitive nature of the award. The novel was adapted for the screen by Hélier Cisterne. His other works include Kanaky: Auf den Spuren von Alphonse Dianou (2021).
