Jona Oberski

Jona Oberski was born in Amsterdam in 1938. He worked as a physicist at a research institute specializing in nuclear and particle physics. His autobiographically influenced book *Childhood* was first published in 1978 and appeared in German in 1980. Oberski dedicated the work to his foster parents, who took him in after the Second World War.
