John Wray

John Wray, born in 1971 in Washington, D.C., to an Austrian mother and an American father, is an American writer. He studied at Oberlin College, Columbia University, and the University of Vienna. In 2007, the literary magazine Granta included him among its selection of the twenty best young U.S. authors. In 2017, he received the Deutschlandfunk Prize at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt.
