John Stephens

John Stephens worked as a screenwriter and producer. After studying, he contributed to successful television series such as “Gossip Girl” and “Gilmore Girls.” Reading Philip Pullman’s “His Dark Materials” trilogy inspired him to turn to writing children’s and young adult fiction. “The Book of Onyx” is the third volume in his “Chronicles of the Emergence” trilogy, whose rights had been sold in 32 countries before publication.
