John Rawls

John Rawls (1921–2002) was an American philosopher. He studied at Princeton University and taught at Cornell University and Harvard University, where he taught philosophy for more than 30 years. His most influential works include A Theory of Justice (1971) and Political Liberalism (1993). In 1952–53, he held a Fulbright fellowship at the University of Oxford.
