John Burns

John Burns, born in 1948 in Southampton, England, studied German, Romance languages and education in Cambridge, as well as English and Romance languages at the Free University of Berlin. He subsequently worked as a teacher at vocational schools in Berlin. Burns holds a diploma in psychology and works as a psychotherapist in private practice. His philosophical dissertation examined questions of applied ethics. He was also a long-standing staff member of the Institute for Depth Psychology, Group Dynamics and Group Therapy in Berlin.
