John Banville

John Banville, born in 1945 in Wexford, Ireland, is an Irish writer. His extensive literary work has received numerous international awards, including the Franz Kafka Prize, the Man Booker Prize for his novel The Sea, and the Austrian State Prize for European Literature, which he received in 2013.
