Johannes Wende

Johannes Wende, born in 1978, studied communication studies and film directing in Munich. In 2012, he completed his dissertation on death in feature films. From 2008 onward, he worked as a research associate in the Media Studies Department at the University of Television and Film Munich. His research focuses include German media and film history, as well as the aesthetics and history of film genres.
