Joelle Jones

Joëlle Jones (born 1980) is an American comics artist and writer. She began her career with covers and short stories and worked on numerous series and graphic novels. In 2006, she co-created the graphic novel “12 Reasons to Love You” with Jamie S. Rich; she also created the crime comic “You Have Killed Me” and the graphic novel “Token.” Her other work included “Supergirl: Being Super,” contributions to “Batman,” “Fables,” “Batman ’66,” “Madame Xanadu,” and “Ultimate Spider-Man,” as well as an adaptation of “The Girl Who Owned a City.” As both writer and artist, she created the vintage crime series “Lady Killer” and worked on the “Catwoman” solo series. She was nominated for the Eisner Award for Best Newcomer in 2007.
