Joe R. Lansdale

Joe R. Lansdale, born in 1951 in Gladewater, Texas, is an American writer. He is best known for crime, horror, and historical novels, as well as short fiction, and is regarded as a prominent author of American crime literature. His work has received, among other honors, the American Mystery Award, the British Fantasy Award, and multiple Bram Stoker Awards from the Horror Writers Association.
