Joe J. Heydecker (1916–1997) was a German journalist and photographer. After training as a photographer, he reported on the Nuremberg Trials for the Allied broadcaster Radio Munich. He later worked as a journalist in Munich and Stuttgart and traveled to India, Sri Lanka, and South America on reporting assignments. In 1960, he emigrated to Brazil with his family, where he founded a photography studio with his wife and worked for German magazines. Heydecker died in Vienna in 1997.
