Jochen Winter

Jochen Winter, born in 1957 in Schwetzingen, Baden, is a German poet, essayist, and translator. His publications include the poetry collection »Spuren im Unermesslichen« (2012) and »Die Glut des Augenblicks. Aufzeichnungen vom Ätna« (2017). Winter received a year-long fellowship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Ernst Meister Prize for Poetry, and, in 2017, the Literature Prize of the A and A Cultural Foundation. He is a corresponding member of the Académie Européenne de Poésie in Luxembourg.
