Joachim Schickel

Joachim Schickel (1924–2002) worked in mathematics, philosophy, Indology, Sinology and the classical languages. For more than 25 years, he helped shape the North German Broadcasting Corporation’s (NDR) Third Programme. Schickel was a student of the philosopher Josef König, whose thinking had a lasting influence on him.
