Jim Field

Jim Field is an English illustrator, character designer and animation director. He studied at the Hull School of Art and Design and initially worked for an advertising agency specialising in animation. His first picture book was published in 2011 and received the BookTrust Roald Dahl Funny Prize. Among the children’s books he illustrated are The Lion Inside, Oi Frog! and the series The Dunderheads; he also illustrated works by Michael Morpurgo and David Baddiel. Field developed a passion for drawing and cartoons at an early age and also published bilingual picture books of his own.
