Jessica George

Jessica George was born in London to Ghanaian parents. She studied English Literature at the University of Sheffield and initially worked at a literary agency and a theatre before moving into editorial work at a publishing house. Her debut novel, *Maame*, appeared on the New York Times bestseller list shortly after publication.
