Claudia Askes-BlumReviewed by Claudia Askes-Blum

This was therapy in book form. I lost my dad 25 years ago, so this is a topic very close to my heart and Jessica George’s words in Maame, reminded me of the emotions - good and bad - I have gone through in a way that not many have been able to put into words. “Accept that your life is different now because of this monumental, irreversible change and that it’s okay to feel guilt one day and indescribable happiness another. This is life now,’ he says. ‘This is how you live.’”
