Jens Harzer

Jens Harzer, born in 1972 in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a German stage and screen actor. He trained at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and subsequently worked with, among others, the ensembles of the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Bavarian State Theatre. His engagements also included the Schaubühne in Berlin, the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Deutsches Theater in Berlin and the Burgtheater in Vienna. From 2009, he was a permanent member of the Thalia Theater ensemble in Hamburg. He was named Actor of the Year by the magazine Theater heute in 2008 and 2011. In 2019, he received the Iffland-Ring from Bruno Ganz.
