Jean-Christophe Derrien

Jean-Christophe Derrien (born 1971) is a French comics writer and screenwriter. While studying film studies in Aix-en-Provence, he wrote a thesis on the television series “Twin Peaks”, edited the comics fanzine “Rainbow Warrior”, and wrote scripts for animated productions, including adaptations of “Blake and Mortimer”, “Spirou et Fantasio” and “Bob Morane”. His first comics album, “Le continent premier”, drawn by Thierry Demarez, was published in 2002. It was followed by works including “Incantations”, “R.I.P. Limited” and “Vacances virtuelles”. In 2007, he created the two-volume series “Miss Endicott” with artist Xavier Fourquemin and began “Time Twins” with Frédéric Vignaux.
