Jason Bittel

Jason Bittel is a journalist whose work has appeared in National Geographic News, The Washington Post, and Nature, among other publications. In 2009, he received a National Geographic Society Young Explorer Grant. In researching unusual animal stories, he has, among other things, fished for piranhas in the Amazon and hunted wild boar in the Great Smoky Mountains.
