Jakob Nolte

Jakob Nolte was born in 1988 in Barsinghausen am Deister, Germany, and works as a writer and playwright. His plays include »Agnes«, »Gespräch wegen der Kürbisse«, and, co-written with Michel Decar, »Helmut Kohl läuft durch Bonn« and »Das Tierreich«. The latter was invited to the 2014 Heidelberg Stückemarkt and received the Brüder Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin. Nolte’s debut novel, »ALFF«, won the Kunstpreis Literatur in 2016. His novel »Schreckliche Gewalten« was nominated for the German Book Prize.
