Jaime Zollars is an American illustrator. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from UMBC in 1999 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design in 2003. As an illustrator, she worked on children’s books, magazines, newspapers, and advertising campaigns, and also created artwork for galleries. Her career as an illustrator began in second grade, when she started drawing unicorns on her friends’ binders and folders. Her artistic inspirations include fairy tales, Flemish painting, nonfiction books, found materials and textures, and flea-market photographs.
