Itta Shedletzky

Itta Shedletzky was born in Switzerland in 1943 and emigrated to Israel in 1962. She received her doctorate in 1986 and taught German literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1981 onward. She also worked with the Leo Baeck Institute for many years and was a senior research fellow at the Franz Rosenzweig Research Centre from 1991 onward. On behalf of the Leo Baeck Institute, she edited Gershom Scholem’s letters.
