Isabel Hessel

Isabel Hessel (born in 1973 in Schweinfurt, Germany) studied German, education and Dutch studies in Würzburg, Antwerp and Cologne. Her translations encompass Dutch fiction, poetry and nonfiction. Among the authors she has translated are Diane Broeckhoven, Jeroen Olyslaegers, Saskia De Coster and Griet Op de Beeck.
