Ingrid Miethe

Ingrid Miethe (born 1962) is an education scholar with a doctorate and habilitation. Her academic career includes a professorship in general educational science at Justus Liebig University Giessen. Her research focuses on the history of education, biographical research, qualitative educational research, international educational cooperation, social inequality and education, and social movements. From 2021 to 2024, she led the German Research Foundation project “Clara Zetkin’s Educational and Education-Policy Work in the Soviet Union.”
