Christina Engelmann

Christina Engelmann was a doctoral researcher at the Frankfurt Institute for Social Research and a research associate at Justus Liebig University Giessen. From 2021 to 2024, she worked on a German Research Foundation project examining Clara Zetkin’s educational and education-policy activities in the Soviet Union. She also worked on a dissertation addressing the critique of the liberal concept of freedom. Her academic fields include social philosophy, the history of the workers’ and proletarian women’s movements, and critical educational theory.
