Inger Leemans is a cultural historian. Her academic positions include a professorship in cultural history at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a research position in cultural history at Radboud University Nijmegen. She also directed NL-Lab, a research group on Dutch culture and identity at the Humanities Cluster of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
