Hubert Mania

Hubert Mania was born in 1954 and studied German and English literature. He subsequently worked as an independent concert promoter and manager of a cultural center. In 1987, Rowohlt published his novel “Scintilla Seelenfunke.” He later translated popular-science books and worked as a contributing editor on Stephen Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time” and “The Universe in a Nutshell.” His other books include “Gauß. Eine Biographie” (2008) and “Kettenreaktion. Die Geschichte der Atombombe” (2010).
