Holger Wormer

Holger Wormer (born 1969) studied chemistry and philosophy in Heidelberg, Ulm and Lyon. From 1996, he worked for almost nine years as a science and medical editor at Süddeutsche Zeitung and also worked as a freelance journalist for various media outlets. From 2003/04, he was a professor of science journalism at the University of Dortmund, now TU Dortmund University, where he was involved in research, teaching and continuing education for journalists. Wormer is the author and editor of numerous books. His work received several awards, including a top-three placement in the science category of the 2011 “Journalists of the Year” awards and Austria’s “Science Book of the Year” award in 2012 for “Endlich Mitwisser!”
