Holger Sturm (born 1982 in Siegen, Germany) studied Latin philology and history for secondary-school teaching at Justus Liebig University Giessen, completing his studies in 2008. In 2017, he received the Wolfgang Mittermaier Award for Excellence in Teaching. He earned his doctorate in late 2018 with a dissertation on Konrad of Eberbach’s “Exordium magnum Cisterciense”.
