Helmuth Trischler

Helmuth Trischler, born in 1958, is a historian specializing in modern and contemporary history and the history of technology. He headed the research division of the Deutsches Museum in Munich until 2024 and was a professor at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. In 2009, he co-founded the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society with Christof Mauch. His publications include the volume “Building Europe on Expertise: Innovators, Organizers, Networkers” (2014), co-edited with Martin Kohlrausch.
