Heinz Oberhummer

Heinz Oberhummer (1941–2015) was a professor of theoretical physics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics at the Vienna University of Technology. His work on the fine-tuning of the universe attracted international attention. Oberhummer was also committed to communicating science, coordinated EU-funded educational projects, and was a co-founder and member of the science cabaret group Science Busters. His book *Kann das alles Zufall sein?* was named Science Book of the Year in 2009.
