Heinz Ludwig

Heinz Ludwig is an Austrian oncologist and emeritus university professor. He headed the First Medical Department of the Center for Oncology and Hematology at Vienna’s Wilhelminenspital and directed the Wilhelminen Cancer Research Institute. He also served as president of the Austrian Forum Against Cancer and as past president of the European Society for Oncology. His work covered both clinical and theoretical cancer research. He received numerous awards for his scientific achievements.
