Heinrich Hauser

Heinrich Hauser was born in Berlin in 1901. He wrote novels, travel books and corporate publications, and translated works by, among others, Liam O’Flaherty. He also worked as a photographer and filmmaker; he went to sea and flew airplanes. Hauser emigrated to the United States in 1938. After returning to Germany, he briefly served as editor-in-chief of the magazine Stern in 1949. He died in Dießen am Ammersee on 25 March 1955.
