Heike Wolpert

Heike Wolpert was born in Bad Mergentheim in 1966 and grew up there. After completing secondary school, she trained as a software developer in Schwäbisch Hall and worked as a business analyst at a major state bank. She returned to writing in 2013. Wolpert writes crime novels and short stories, including the series featuring the feline sleuth Kater Socke and the crime novel “Taubertaltod.” In 2019, she contributed to the crime-themed guide “Mörderisches aus Hannover.” Her own black-and-white cat, Socke, inspired her series of cat mysteries.
