Heike Makatsch

Heike Makatsch (born 1971 in Düsseldorf) is a German actress, television presenter, and audiobook narrator. She first became known through her work for the music channel VIVA and the television program Bravo TV. In 1996, she made her film breakthrough in Detlev Buck’s „Männerpension“, for which she received the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress. Her other notable films include „Hilde“, „Margarete Steiff“, „Love Actually“, and „Tom Sawyer“. Makatsch has received several awards, including the Bambi, the Golden Camera, and the Adolf Grimme Award. She has also narrated audiobooks such as „Mary Poppins“, „Pippi Longstocking“, „The Little Witch“, and „Ronia, the Robber’s Daughter“.
