Harry Harun Behr (born 1962) taught educational science with a focus on Islam at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. His areas of work included Islamic educational theory, the teaching of Islamic religious education, the pedagogy and anthropology of Islam, and research into young people’s religious positioning. Further topics included religion, gender, migration, young people’s lifeworlds, prevention of radicalization, and the hermeneutics of the Qur’an.
