Hans Schiebelhuth

Hans Schiebelhuth was a German writer, translator, and editor. He contributed to several literary journals, including „Der Zweemann“ and „Das Tribunal“. He became particularly known for his translations of Thomas Wolfe’s novels „Look Homeward, Angel!“ and „From Death to Morning“, which for a time overshadowed his own poetry. In 1937, he moved to the United States with his wife and did not return to Germany.
