Hans Rusinek

Hans Rusinek (born 1989) is an economist, writer and consultant. His work has addressed changes in the world of work, questions of meaning and productivity, and the relationship between business and society. Until 2020, he was strategy director and the first employee of BrightHouse, the purpose consultancy of Boston Consulting Group. He also held a teaching position in “Future of Work” at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. Rusinek studied economics, philosophy and politics at the London School of Economics and in Bayreuth, as well as design thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute. His writing has appeared in publications including Brand eins, Capital and DIE ZEIT. In 2020, he received the Ludwig Erhard Foundation’s award for business journalism.
