Hans Eckardt

Hans Eckardt (1939–2009) was a German audiobook publisher, director, and reciter. He gained his first experience as an audiobook director as head of the German Library for the Blind at the German Institute for the Blind. From 1987, he ran a publishing house and studio for audiobook productions with his wife, Heidemarie, first in Ebsdorfergrund-Beltershausen and later in Marburg. Eckardt recorded numerous audiobooks as a narrator, including works by Wolfgang Borchert and detective novels by Agatha Christie.
