Hanna Zeckau

Born in 1978, Hanna Zeckau studied communication design at Berlin-Weißensee School of Art and at the École des Arts décoratifs in Paris. From 2006 onward, her professional work included illustration, book design and graphic design for publishers, cultural institutions and universities; she also taught as a lecturer at various universities. In 2007, she co-published “Brehms verlorenes Tierleben. Illustriertes Lexikon ausgestorbener Vögel und Säugetiere” with Carsten Aermes. The book received a bronze medal at the 2008 “Best Book Design from All over the World” competition and was selected by Stiftung Buchkunst as one of the most beautiful books of 2007.
