Greg Neri

Greg Neri is an American author of children’s books. His notable works include “Yummy,” “Chess Rumble,” “Ghetto Cowboy,” “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash,” and “Tru & Nelle.” His books have received several literary awards. “Tru & Nelle,” a story about the friendship between Truman Capote and Harper Lee, was named Book of the Month by, among others, the German Academy for Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Before becoming an author, Neri worked as a filmmaker, animator, and illustrator.
