Born in 1963, Gregory Keyes is an American science-fiction and fantasy author who has also published under the pseudonyms J. Gregory Keyes and Greg Keyes. His works include the novel The Alchemists’ Guild, as well as novels set in the Star Wars, Babylon 5, and Forgotten Realms universes. After studying anthropology, he turned to writing. As a child, he became acquainted with Navajo language and culture, which fostered his interest in languages, rituals, and myths.
