Giuseppe Furno

Giuseppe Furno, born in Rome in 1953, is a screenwriter for film and television. His debut novel, *The Fires of Murano*, received the Premio Hemingway in 2012. In researching the historical novel, Furno spent eighteen months in archives, lived in Venice for two months, and even learned to row to portray the lagoon city authentically. *Eternity Is Only Death* marked the beginning of his novel series featuring the Roman private detective Fabio Gracco.
